  • Experiential Profiling is an extremely enjoyable way for team members to learn to see themselves as OTHERS see them.

HOW the Module Works

  • learning the nuances of the relevant subject is enhanced by delegates learning subliminally while studying the cards and discussing each others' projection (hence "experiential" profiling) because key “symptoms” are repeated in a number of types - eg “listens well”

An EXAMPLE Programme

(of an Experiential TEAMWORKING Profiling workshop; the structure for

the other applications is the same but with different Reference Cards)

  • an introduction to the Laminated Reference Cards with a lecture relating the principles of Teamwork to explain each type; open discussion for first impressions with laughter encouraged!

  • 6 Bright and 6 Dark side types are presented on either side of a Reference Card showing the “symptoms” of each type for the relevant application

We offer 4 applications tailor-made for dental practices:

  • working in pairs, team members identify their own Bright side profile and then reveal it to the group for comments and feedback

  • Experiential Profiling is easy to learn and easy to use - and, despite its simplicity - remarkably effective!

  • this process is repeated for each to identify their Dark side profile!

  • a discussion on where/when teamwork is required in the practice

  • working in pairs, team members come up with ideas how they can take advantage of their Bright side and minimise their Dark side

  • a group discussion on how any team member can DECIDE to behave in a certain way depending on the demands of the situation/patient
